Description
National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month occurs every October. Annually, AABN recognizes & honors those who have experienced loss.
Event Details
Shantell Riley, Healing Waters Facilitator will lead the group along a lighted path, highlighting important facts about perinatal and infant mortality in the BIPOC community.
5:30PM: Registration and check in will begin promptly at
During this time individuals are invited to pick up their memorial luminaries and grab a bagged meal, a snack or warm beverage.
6:45PM: We will start to line up the lumaries along the walking path.
7:00PM: Shantell will then share more information about Healing Waters, the history of Wave of Light and read a poem.
7:10PM: Those that would like to share are welcome to say a few words, read a poem or share what's on their hearts.
7:25PM:To honor those we have lost we will read their names.
7:30PM: We will start the Remembrance Walk.
8:00PM: Closing words & invitation to join Healing Waters Group Session on Saturday.
