St. Francis Christmas Parade, Sun., Dec. 6th, 4p.m., featuring a non-perishable food collection for project concern, parade route starts across from St. Francis Public Library, 4230 E. Nicolson Ave., down Kinnickinnic to Civic Center, 3400 E. Howard Ave.

The St. Francis Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 6th starting at 4p.m., featuring a non- perishable food collection for project concern.
The parade route starts across from the St. Francis Public Library at 4230 E. Nicolson Ave., turns down Kinnickinnic and goes east on Howard Ave. until it concludes at the St. Francis Civic Center, 3400 E. Howard Ave.
The St. Francis Fire and Police Departments will escort the parade with Parade Marshall, St. Francis Citizen of the Year for 2015, Bob Boknevitz, Mary Stoker-Smith from Fox6 News, Mayor CoryAnn St. Marie-Carls and Miss St. Francis, Rachael Obst. Joining us will be our St. Francis High School Drum Line, St. Francis Pom Team, Cudahy Pom Team, Stephanie Marie Dance Company, the Dancing Grannies, Willow Glen Lunch Ladies, the St. Francis Memorial Committee Salute to Veterans, the Hardees Star, St. Thomas Aquinas Academy, Pietros, East Side Ovens and more. Special guests include Miss Rose Shady Dog Clown, and the Miss Polish Fest junior, pre-teen and teen titleholders, and the antique fire truck from Dave Goltz that will make a special winter appearance.
Santa and his elves will ride on a royal Lion’s Club float provided by the South Milwaukee Lion’s Club in partnership with the St. Francis Lion’s Club. St. Francis/Cudahy Project concern food pantry will partner with the Parade for a food collection. Bring your non-perishable food items when you come to be collected on the Parade route.
Join the fun and meet after the parade at the St. Francis Civic Center for complimentary refreshments, cookie decorating, singing lead by Girl Scout Troop #8037, and a chance to visit with Santa. We will light the Civic Center Rotunda tree to ring in the Holidays. If you want information about the parade call Roberta, volunteer Parade Coordinator at 414-698-7797.
